I’ve created a simple Do’s and Don’ts guide for ages zero to three, to help parents focus on what truly supports development — without pressure or checklists.
Parenting in the first three years comes with an overwhelming amount of advice.
Do this. Don’t do that. Start early. Don’t wait too long.
Much of this advice is well-meaning — but not all of it actually supports a child’s development. In fact, some common practices can unintentionally limit movement, reduce meaningful interaction, or add unnecessary pressure for both parents and children.
This guide was created to bring clarity back to everyday parenting decisions.
Instead of telling parents what they’re doing wrong, it focuses on helping you understand:
what truly supports development in the early years
what can quietly get in the way
and how small, thoughtful choices matter more than doing everything
The Do’s & Don’ts in this guide are not rules to follow perfectly. They are gentle signposts — meant to support awareness, not create guilt.
You don’t need to do more.
You need to understand what matters — and do that calmly, consistently, and with trust.
